Henrik Stenson was able to overcome a shank that drilled a fan in the head to finish T-9 at Pebble Beach this past week with a score of five-under-par. Stenson was near the top of the leaderboard after a 68 in the first round but never mustered enough firepower to scare the leaders.
Fantasy Impact:
Stenson was well-suited for Pebble Beach as one of the better iron players on tour and thanks to that he was able to capture a T-9. Stenson will now focus on winning his second Claret Jug, having won his first in 2016 at the Open Championship at Royal Troon.
