Viktor Hovland misses cut at the Mayakoba Classic

For the second consecutive year, Viktor Hovland failed to make the cut at the Mayakoba Classic in Mexico. Hovland had a solid opening round, shooting a three-under 68, but struggled on Saturday, shooting a three-over 74.

Hovland was one of the betting favorites heading into the event, so it is obviously surprising news for anyone who backed him. He is still one of the brightest young talents in the game, and will look to get back on track next week.
