Vaughn Taylor finishes T2 at the Mayakoba Classic

by Nic Turner | Mon, Nov 18th 12:28pm EST

Vaughn Taylor shot rounds of 64-66-67-68 to finish at 19-under par and tie for second at the Mayakoba Classic. Taylor finished in a three-way tie for second, and one stroke off the winner, Brendon Todd.

Fantasy Impact:

This was Taylor's first top-5 finish of the 2019-20 season, and his first top-10 placing since the Travelers Championship in June. The 43-year-old is one of the most accurate drivers of the golf ball, and scores extremely well on Par 4s. This was a course that suit his eye, and he will look to carry the momentum next week at the RSM Classic.
