Tyler Duncan wins the RSM Classic

by Nic Turner | Sun, Nov 24th 6:39pm EST

Tyler Duncan claimed his first PGA Tour victory on Sunday, finishing at 19-under par and beating Webb Simpson on the second hole of a playoff. Duncan shot a seven-under 65 on Sunday to climb the leaderboard and take home his first ever championship.

Fantasy Impact:

This was a huge breakthrough for the 30-year-old, as he was ranked 387 in the OWGR coming in, and hasn’t had a top-10 finish since the AT&T Byron Nelson in July. He was coming off of two straight made cuts, including a T18 at the Bermuda Championship a few weeks ago. Duncan ranks third in driving accuracy and 45th in strokes gained: approach, this season.
