Webb Simpson finishes second at the RSM Classic

by Nic Turner | Sun, Nov 24th 6:48pm EST

Webb Simpson came super close to winning his first PGA event of the new season, but ultimately fell short, as Tyler Duncan beat him in a playoff. The pair were tied at 19-under par after 72 holes on Sunday. Simpson shot rounds of 65-68-63-67.

Fantasy Impact:

Simpson was the betting favourite going into the week, and the highest priced golfer on DraftKings. This was his first appearance since his T7 finish at the Shriners in early October, but he did not appear to be rusty at all. The number 12 ranked golfer in the world will now enjoy a brief break before the PGA tour picks up again in the new year.
