Abraham Ancer finishes T7 at 2022 World Wide Technology Championship

by Matthew MacKay | Wed, Nov 10th 9:42am EST

Abraham Ancer carded rounds of 68-68-68-65 to earn a T7 finish at 15-under-par during the 2022 World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba.

Fantasy Impact:

The 30-year old Mexican has looked solid since missing the cut at the Shriners Children's Open in Las Vegas last month, earning T14 and T7 finishes, respectively. Ancer has the ninth-most accurate driver and is ranked 31st in strokes gained putting, which is reflected in the 4.90 birdie average he has maintained to this point. He finally broke through the three-under-par finishes he experienced during the first three rounds at Mayakoba with an impressive six-under-par finish in the final round. Ancer is among the best golfers globally, ranked 13th in Official World Golf Rankings, and should have confidence moving into future events this season.
