Martin Trainer carded rounds of 65-65-74-70 to settle into a six-under-par T5 finish at the 2021 Houston Open.
Trainer finished his first two rounds at ten-under-par, making the cut but immediately going four-over-par and then breaking even in the final round to manage a T5 finish. The 30-year old American previously missed the cut in all five of his previous events, evidenced in the latter half of his performance at Memorial Park. If Trainer consistently produces five-under-par rounds moving forward, he will eventually climb up the FedExCup and OWGR rankings.
