Jon Rahm produces dominating second-place finish at Sentry Tournament

by Matthew MacKay | Wed, Jan 12th 5:11pm EST

Jon Rahm fired off rounds of 66-66-61-66 to finish 33-under-par as the runner-up at the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions.

Fantasy Impact:

Rahm surprisingly missed the cut at Fortinet back in September but spent time off resting and preparing for the Sentry Tournament. He flashed brilliantly in his return, hitting 12-under-par in the second round and seven-under-par in the other three rounds to finish one stroke higher than Aussie phenom Cam Smith. Smith set the PGA Tour record with his 34-under-par finish, so Rahm should be proud of his narrow second-place finish. Expect another massive year for Rahm as he settles into the 2022 PGA Tour schedule.
