Russell Henley carded rounds of 62-63-67-65 to wind up in a playoff but ultimately lost and finished second with 23-under-par during the 2022 Sony Open.
Henley, a 32-year old American, earned his second top-ten finish of the 2022 PGA Tour season with a combined score of 15-under-par across the first two rounds. However, he tailed off slightly in the final two rounds, allowing Hideki Matsuyama to mount a comeback by draining a clutch eagle on the lone playoff hole. Henley has one of the most accurate drivers and averages 4.96 birdies per round this year, making him a reliable player to roster in fantasy moving forward. Henley is ranked 12th in the FedExCup and 40th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
