Michael Thompson earns T5 finish at 2022 Sony Open

Thompson is good with converting his greens in regulation attempts but finally pieced the rest of his game together in Maui this past weekend. The 36-year old American also had a T15 finish at Mayakoba back in November. Still, his ability to overcome two mediocre middle rounds with a fast start and finish encourages his future outlook. Thompson is a 20-year veteran and should have plenty more run in-store across the next ten years.
