Beat the Expert: Brad Evans from Yahoo! Sports

Last week’s Beat the Expert contest with Gregg Rosenthal produced 191 winners for a total of $1,955 in free prizes. That’s not exactly “making it rain” given the 886 contestants, but it was infinitely better than the previous week when Yahoo’s Andy Behrens beat all but 15 players (out of 1,366)! Well, we’ve got another shot at Yahoo, this time with Brad “The Big Noise” Evans. Brad’s an award-winning columnist who many of us love for his bold, witty and accurate predictions (top 5 in accuracy as of this post). If you think you can take him down, sign up for our free contest now!

More details:
– Contest is totally free to enter. No strings attached.
– The main prize pool is $1,000. The top 10 finishers win a piece of this, with a first place prize of $300.
– If you beat Brad, you’ll get a $5 bonus. Which means if he comes in last place, everyone wins!
– All prizes paid by our sponsor, FanDuel.

So what’s in it for Brad?
Each expert is playing for a charitable cause. At the end of the season, we’ll rank each expert based on their relative performance. FantasyPros will donate a total of $2,000 this season to eight charities, with the top expert earning $1,000 for their chosen cause. It’s our way of making sure everyone wins! Brad’s charity is the Make a Wish Foundation, which helps children with life-threatening medical conditions by fostering hope and joy through the fulfillment of their wishes.

Besides the motivation around helping a very worthy cause, it’s clear that our experts just love to compete. Whether it’s through these fun contests, in our main accuracy competition, or within their own expert leagues, these fantasy analysts are willing to put their reputations on the line by going up against anyone that’s up for the challenge.

Let’s see if Brad can keep the strong Yahoo showing going (no pressure Brad). It’s a free contest, so I encourage everyone to take a shot!
