John Paulsen has been playing fantasy football for almost two decades and has served up fantasy advice to readers since 2005. Last season, he was named FantasyPros’ Most Accurate Expert of 2010, beating out almost 40 experts from ESPN, Yahoo, FoxSports (and more) in a contest that measured the accuracy of weekly rankings. He has a degree in Industrial Engineering, so he utilizes his statistics background to deliver some of the best advice available.
For the past few seasons, John’s fantasy posts have been published on The Scores Report, but he launched FantasyShrink in 2011, and it will host his content going forward. Every week, he publishes Waiver Wire Watch, Love ‘Em & Leave ‘Em (start/sit recommendations) and Defensive Team By Waiver Wire (DTBWW), along with his weekly rankings and other week-to-week fantasy content. He also is the founder and editor of FantasyIntersection, which serves as a clearinghouse of the best free expert content found on the internet.
In 2007, John was also awarded the Best Humor Article by the Fantasy Sports Writers Association.

John is a model of consistency and genius (1st here at Fantasy Pros in 2010 and 2nd in 2011). I’ve followed his advice for the past two years and doing so has lead me to two consecutive divisional championships and a league championship. From pre-draft day jitters to the day you’ll be drinking a beer out of that league championship trophy of your own, there’s no safer nor smarter money week in and week out than John Paulsen. He and Josh Moore from 4for4 have a great synergy as well, both belong on your twitter feed and bookmarked pages for fantasy advice. Fantastic, hyper-detailed and friendly advice, one really can’t laud the man enough.
First year being on Twitter and I have to say following John during the football season was great. Never have won a Fantasy Football league coming into this year, but that changed. I won both fantasy leagues I was in. Id like to take all the credit but every week I used John’s rankings as my guidelines. Thanks a bunch !!

The guy is gold. First, he WILL answer any intelligent question you have on football. This amazes me! Second, he is usually spot on with his advice. The stats show he is the best!

Love reading the Scores Report blog. John offers thorough advice and his posts are smart and funny. His Q&A columns (where he answers your specific questions that can’t be answered by his rankings) are really great.

JP thoroughly researches and really knows his stuff. He is light years ahead of the “experts” on some of the bigger websites. I haven’t found a better source for fantasy analysis and advice.
John’s expertise has me on a hot streak. Everytime I go to him for trade and/or waiver wire advice he hooks me up with the correct move. I’m checking John’s weekly rankings before any other experts. I’m a stats-driven guy but if all my research piles up to a standstill and I need a decision, I always ask JP. I sleep pretty soundly if his advice is the deciding factor.

JP is the man when it comes to Fantasy Football advice. He has helped me in 3 different drafts and each time my squad is in the runnning for the League Title. The dude is surgical in his analysis and waiver wire pickups!

John has consistently given me good advice from who to start and sit and what defense to pick up on a weekly basis.
JP has been my go to fantasy source expert for Baseball, Basketball, and Football for quite some time now. I have never asked a question that he didn’t have immediate advise based on solid percentages and thorough insight of the game.
