Fantasy Impact:
The 28-year-old started in left field on Opening Day Thursday but will take a seat against lefty Martin Perez on Friday. Acquired in an offseason deal from the Twins, Gordon hit just .176 with two homers across 93 plate appearances in the big leagues last season.
