Fantasy Impact:
Alvarez tore his meniscus on a swing Tuesday night and will now go in for surgery as he aims to return at some point this summer. However, more information will be known following the surgery. Hayden Senger was called up following the injury and will likely split time with Luis Torrens behind the plate while Alvarez is on the shelf.
