Davante Adams makes key catch in Packers comeback

by Clinton H. | Raiders Correspondent | Mon, Oct 13th 8:04pm EDT

Davante Adams was targeted a season-high eight times on Sunday. He finished with six receptions for 77 yards, including a 12-yard run-and-catch that put the Packers in position to win the game with seconds left on the clock. Green Bay drafted Adams in the second round and he earned that draft status on Sunday against veteran cornerback Cortland Finnegan. (Journal Sentinel)

Fantasy Impact:

With the game on the line, Aaron Rodgers ran a fake snap play that left Jordy Nelson motionless as well as the entire field, except for Adams. He's had growing pains throughout the season, but it appears the light is turning on for the rookie. That bodes well for both the Packers and Aaron Rodgers as well as Adams' fantasy value. Although Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb are there in Green Bay, earning Aaron Rodgers' trust is never a bad thing, especially in an offense that moves the ball the way Green Bay does.
