While this stat highlights how well the offense has protected the ball, it also shows that the defense is creating ample opportunities of its own. Actually, turnovers seem to be the key to Packers stops on defense. While they're allowing the 5th fewest yards in the air, who needs to pass when you can run against the league's softest rush defense – the Packers have allowed 154.5 yards/game. Against read-option savvy Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers in Week 7, with a banged up Packers secondary, you can probably find a better defense to start.
