Cody Kessler to compete for the starting job in Cleveland

Cleveland Browns GM Sashi Brown told the Cleveland Plain Dealer that Cody Kessler and Robert Griffin III will "compete" for the No. 1 quarterback position and that "the best quarterback is going to start for us period." (Around the NFL)

It is not shocking news that the Browns announce that there would be a quarterback competition between Robert Griffin III and newcomer Cody Kessler. Despite Cleveland brass' support of the rookie, it is likely that these reports are to light a fire under Griffin as he was brought in to lead the Browns in 2016. No matter who is under center for Cleveland this season, neither one is worth a fantasy look unless Josh Gordon is reinstated being that they have unproven and insufficient weapons around the signal caller otherwise.
