Legion Report
Just like Matt Ryan and Atlanta you can expect a lot of shootouts this season due to a horrendous Dallas Defense. This offseason the Cowboys went out and snatched up former Detroit Offensive Coordinator, Scott Linehan. Linehan is a pass-happy OC that is used to working with Top WR’s (Calvin/Moss) which is perfect for Dez Bryant. The past 3 season under OC Lineham, Matt Stafford averaged 42.7 Passing Attempts per game; expect an up-tick in Romo’s 33.4 Pass Attempts last season. Romo will be among the league leaders in Pass Attempts and Yards surrounded by lethal weapons which makes him a darkhourse at the possibility of a Top 5 Fantasy QB.
Arizona has plenty of options in 2014 – Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd and Andre Ellington. Throughout the final nine games of the season, the Cardinals jumped their PPG mark 7.3 Points up to an average of 27.3 PPG. The offense has continued to mesh as they become more fluent with Bruce Arians; Carson Palmer was recently quoted in saying that the offense is “light years” ahead of where they were last year. The Cards play in a difficult division who is not friendly to opposing QBs, however we think Palmer takes a step forward in 2014.

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
He'll be on most of my teams unless a top QB falls pretty far. I love that Scot Linehan will be calling the plays and that the Cowboys have no defense. It may not be pretty, but Romo will put up numbers on the quantity of attempts this year.

Staff Rankings
2MugsFF
Looks way overrated compared to ADP, but the Cowboys' defense is awful, and Scott Linehan loves to throw the football. Could flirt with top 3 status.

Tom Schriner
FFLockerRoom
Coming off a second-straight off season in which he has had back surgery, Romo claims that he is healthier than he has felt in a few years. But the Cowboys have a pretty tough schedule. Don't expect much more than lower-end QB1 numbers in 12-team formats.

Matthew Hill
Fantasy Team Advice

In the final seven games Carson Palmer eclipsed 300 yards four times, including a 407 and a 419 yard effort. With a full season under his belt and with the continued development of young skill players, Palmer has some serious sleeper appeal this season.

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Romo has the back injury to worry about but his system and weapons still give him a shot at top-10 numbers.
Palmer can still get it done in a pinch for fantasy owners, but you don't want to hitch your wagon to him. What we saw last year is probably as good as it gets from this point on.

Huseyin Aksu
Fantasy Couch
people hate him so he may slip several rounds
look for a good year with Ellington and other WRs not-named Fitzgerald emerging

James Hatfield
Hatty Waiver Wire Guru
Romo has a number of players to target in 2014 and if he can remain healthy he has amazing upside. He does carry an injury risk, but with the Dallas defense hurting you should expect Romo to be throwing the ball a ton this year.
Palmer's numbers don't lie and he is a solid back-up QB for 2014 that can be had in the later rounds.

Pat Fitzmaurice
The Football Girl
Scott Linehan's play-calling could ratchet up Romo's numbers
Fuel is running low, but he has talented WRs and a pass-happy coach.

KJ
Fantasy Team Advice
A lackluster defense should ensure that Tony Romo is a gunslinger in 2014, which is just what fantasy owners want to hear. He is often one of the most overlooked QB's on draft day, and can be had at an excellent price
Palmer is too interception prone, without enough passing TD upside to be considered a draft day option in 2014

Sablich Brothers
The New York Times
A virtual lock for 4,000 passing yards and 30 TDs as long as he stays upright.
Career highs in passing yards under OC Arians, but ugly 24:22 TD to INT ratio.

Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Romo is a slam-dunk to finish in the Top 10 among fantasy quarterbacks when he is healthy and I see no reason why he cannot do that in 2014. Most of the key losses for the Cowboys have been on defense, so there will be a ton of pressure for the Cowboys offense to score points this year. The one question mark is his back holding up over the course of a 16-game season.
Palmer had his moments this year, but it will be interesting to see if the Cardinals go in another direction in 2015 or if they jump start that change and go with rookie Logan Thomas at some point this season. Palmer can make plays, but he is just not the long-term answer for them at quarterback.

Jon Collins
Fantasy Sports LR
Rounding out with Romo/Wilson/Cutler the back end of the QB1 group this year looks very deep. No reason to assume less than last year's 3800/31/10 line here, given Dallas' presumed struggles on defense and pass heavy tendencies.
