Fantasy Football Freaks
He averaged 26 points against the Giants in 2012. Look for a strong start in a divisional matchup.

Jeff Boggis
Fantasy Football Empire
New York Giants gave up the 10th most fantasy points to Quarterbacks last season with 18.5.
BENCH - St. Louis gave up the 12th fewest fantasy points to Quarterbacks last season with 16.0.

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Romo is always a candidate for a big game at home, but Giants can have his # from time to time.
I'm banking on Palmer having to throw a lot in this one, so he should be serviceable.

Raju Byfield
Win My Fantasy League
Additions of Williams, Randle help solve depth issues, can keep going strong even if injuries at RB and WR strike; make no mistake Romo is still a high floor QB1
Palmer goes to the desert to play with the best receiver he has ever played with; will have multiple QB1 weeks

Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Romo had 747 passing yards in 2 games against the Giants last year, so he figures to have a big yardage day in the opener. The question is will he throw 3 touchdowns and 1 pick like he did in New York last year or 1 touchdown and 4 picks like he did in Dallas last year.

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
Romo has always put up good fantasy numbers against the Giants. For his career he's averaging 269 yards passing and 2.7 touchdowns. Last year he averaged 372 yards passing and two touchdowns. He also threw a whole load of interceptions, but if he plays anything like last year’s season opener he's a top QB this week.
Palmer's inability to move, his offensive line, the Rams pass rush and good cornerbacks are a bad combination. This will be an extreme test for the Cardinals to see if they can hold off the pass rush enough to make plays down field with their top line receiving group. I am rooting for Larry Fitzgerald and he will get his as long as Palmer doesn't get injured, but overall this isn't the game you want to see if Palmer is worth starting in deeper leagues or daily.

Dez will torch the NYG secondary.

Taylor Smith
NFL Soup
Romo put up massive numbers last year, as he was essentially tasked with getting the Cowboys out of big-time deficits all season long. If the offensive line play can improve over where it was in 2012 (low hurdle), Romo should be in for another big season.
Palmer put up solid numbers last season while toiling away in Oakland, and that was without any truly viable receiving weapons. Now, he's got Larry Fitzgerald at his disposal, as well as former first-round pick Michael Floyd. He'll still throw picks on you, but he's a solid backup/bye week savior.

Tozzi Brothers
Legion Report
Not the 10th best QB in the NFL, but on a fantasy perspective, there is no denying Romo’s ability to rack up points. Yes, he will burn you with games where he tosses 2-3 INTs, but Romo will also have games where he rolls up 300 yards and 3 TDs. The big play ability of Dez Bryant and Jason Witten gives Romo stable options from week to week. If you miss on the big boys, Romo is still considered lightly elite.

Muntradamus
Beast Dome
Romo still has the second best WR duo in the league of Austin Miles and Dez Bryant, along with star TE Jason Witten. You put Tom Brady with that group, and Tom Brady is probably the #1 QB in 2013. But this is Tony Romo, and Romo will make bad throws and fail when you need him the most. The offense is going to try running the ball more this season, which they should. But Romo will still get that 300 Yard/2 TD game more often than not.
For the first time since Kurt Warner, the Cardinals have a QB that can actually throw the ball. Larry Fitzgerald is going to love having Palmer who is not afraid to throw the deep ball. Even if it's in triple coverage, off his backfoot, in the 4th quarter. Palmer will have nice games as this Cardinals WR core is underrated, but he will also have those horrible ones.
