Bush has only 1,190 career rushing attempts and 426 career receptions. Even at 29 years old, he has enough tread on his tires to be a good fantasy player. The problem is that the Lions are going to use more two-back sets and Bell should lead the team in carries with Bush having a Darren Sproles type role. Bush is a better PPR option than he is in Standard Leagues.
Johnson was viewed as a disappointment last year, but still finished as the 9th overall fantasy running back with 1,422 yards from scrimmage and 10 total touchdowns. He should lead the New York Jets in rushing attempts, but he will be in a timeshare with RB Chris Ivory.

Brandon Funston
Yahoo! Sports
Finished among top 10 fantasy RBs in '13, and potential in DET remains ripe for a repeat
Looks like a 60/40 split w/ Ivory in backfield, but NYJ will be run heavy, so workload should be good enough

Raju Byfield
Win My Fantasy League
Reggie Bush should see a reduction from the 277 touches he received last year as part of the Lions offense, a number around 225 seems more realistic with Joique Bell expected to be the lead back in Detroit.
Chris Johnson has joined the New York Jets and anyone who does not recognize the fear a Michael Vick/Chris Johnson tandem will instill in opposing defensive coordinators has not been following football close enough. The ‘fastest backfield ever built’ could propel the Jets to the playoffs and Johnson to RB1 numbers...but Geno Smith is being pushed by team brass to be the starter limiting Johnson’s fantasy value. Chris Ivory is a legit threat to steal carries but it would be very surprising to see Ivory not miss games with an injury or two this season.

James Hatfield
Hatty Waiver Wire Guru
We all know Reggie Bush will miss some games in 2014 due to injury, but when he is on the field he knows how to light it up from a fantasy perspective. He also gets a bump for PPR leagues and if you draft him just make sure to get his hand-cuff. Bell will probably get more carries this year than Bush so his upside is capped.
His role as an every down back are fading and he is going to be a bit of a gamble pick and may go too early in drafts.

Tom Schriner
FFLockerRoom
With Joique Bell getting a hefty increase in salary, it's very likely that Bush will see a diminished role in 2014. I like him in PPR leagues but for standard, he will get less carries.
CJ2K may not be a Titan heading into the season, make sure to keep track of his situation during the off season. Word is that the Titans have put Chris on the trading block. But that won't do any good. No one will take that contract, we will have to wait when the Titans finally release him.

Sablich Brothers
The New York Times
A reduced passing back role likely with Bell getting the bulk of the early work.
Favorite to lead the run-heavy committee in NY, but will give way to Ivory at the stripe.

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Bush should run less but he'll still have a monster role.
CJ2k wants 2k yds again. Not too likely without a true feature role, but he can still offer RB2 upside.

Huseyin Aksu
Fantasy Couch
upside is there, but you risk inconsistency and injury with Reggie

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
Bush is set up for another big PPR year with Lombardi at OC. I like Bell a little more based on his goal line work and similar receiving numbers.
Not sure what to do with CJwhocaresK. He still has the speed and skill, but can you trust him to break a tackle? Sometimes, yes, so he has to be drafted. He'll be up and down all season, but put up a few big games to keep you believing.

Pat Fitzmaurice
The Football Girl
A wide range of possible outcomes depending on usage.
Wildly erratic from week to week. Let someone else deal with the frustration.

Tozzi Brothers
Legion Report
New Detroit OC Joe Lombardi is preaching a faster tempo-ed offense this season. There’s a ton of weapons in Detroit with the newly acquired Golden Taint and recent emergence of Joique Bell. “It’s exactly the same,” claims ex-Saint, Reggie Bush, as Joe Lombardi brings the exact same Saints Offense to Detroit. Last season PT Cruiser (Pierre Thomas) caught 77 passes, which ranked 1st in the league, while Darren Sproles caught 71 in a limited role, which ranked 4th in the league. Reggie Bush won’t have the rushing attempts, yards or TD’s, but he has huge PPR value.
Rex Ryan said Chris “CJ?K” Johnson was “flying” in the mandatory conditioning running. CJ?K was recently cleared after surgery on his 2013 torn meniscus injury. He’s in line to share a workload with Chris Ivory and Bilal Powell and remains a low end RB2. Remember when Chris Johnson GUARANTEED to rush for 2,500 yards and win MVP, Geno Smith has GUARANTEED the Playoffs to New York in 2014 and Rex Ryan GUARANTEES everything. In other news, ESPN New York expects a timeshare/backfield by committee approach between CJ?K and Powell/Ivory this season. Johnson will see much less volume than he did in Tennessee and shouldn’t be viewed as the option he was in years past.
