Kaepernick very well may never turn out to be the quarterback that he was for that brief period a few years ago, but his week 1 matchup pits him against one of the worst 2013 pass defenses in the NFL. It will take a team effort, but when all is said and done, CK should rank among the top-12.

- Tom Schriner, FFLockerRoom

The Bills were one of the better pass defenses in the NFL last year but Chicago has one of the best offensive groups in the league. While Cutler probably won't dominate he should at least play as a QB1 in deeper, 12-team leagues.

The Niners looked bad in the preseason but the 'Boys defense is trash. Kaep and co. should rebound with big numbers in Big D.

- Kevin Roberts, Breaking Football

Buffalo has had turnover at safety and inside linebacker. I think Cutler and co. make them look bad in week one at home.

CK gets first crack at worst defense of 2014.

Kaepernick will have a strong start to the season going against a Dallas D that is worse than the unit that allowed the third most yards in NFL history.

- Derek Lofland, Fantasy Football Maniax

Cutler has a ton of offensive weapons, but the Bills have one of the best pass rushes in the NFL. It will be a good test for Cutler to see if he is ready to have a breakout season.
