Doug Martin is expected to play on third downs this season which only boosts his overall fantasy value each week. And the New York Jets gave up the 9th most fantasy points to Running Backs last season.
Raju Byfield
Win My Fantasy League
Easily top three in PPR in new offenseMore talent in backfield this year than last; Mike James should see snaps, Hillis could vulture some goal line touches
Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
It is a perfect storm for Charles. The Jaguars were 29th against fantasy running backs last year and it would be hard to imagine the Jaguars blowing out the Chiefs, which can limit a back's touches. Charles should be the focal point of the Chiefs offense, which should lead to a monster game. The same logic I used with Charles applies to Martin. The Jets were 25th against fantasy running backs last year and the Jets offense is not good enough to turn this game into a blowout. Martin should see a ton of touches this week.
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Jags are soft on D and Charles is primed for a huge season. It should get off to a hot start in week one.Jets struggled against run last year and Bucs will probably have to run to win, so Martin should be pretty busy.
Taylor Smith
NFL Soup
Charles' outstanding comeback season was completely lost in the shuffle of the Chiefs' debacle of a season, but he ran for over 1,500 yards coming off of an ACL injury of his own. His relatively pedestrian touchdown production is the only thing keeping him this low.MUSCLE HAMSTER. Martin does a little bit of everything, and he won't be losing carries to Peyton Hillis, so don't worry about that.
Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
Charles goes into Jacksonville against a team who gave up the third most fantasy points and second most rushing yards per game in the last half of 2012. They have defensive minded coach in Gus Bradley, but a very young defense. It should take them a while to come together. The Jets have a tough defense, but their lack of offense gave opponents plenty of chances to run the ball and wear their defense down. That doesn't look like it will change much this season. Look for Martin to get plenty of touches both in the run and receiving game.
Jordan Tozzi
Legion Report
With the addition of Alex Smith and Andy Reid, Charles will be the focus of a Kansas City offense poised for a bounce-back season. Charles finished 2012 with 1,509 rushing yards, but only 5 TDs. He also added 35 receptions for 236 yards and 1 TD. These are impressive stats from a last placed team making replacements and major upgrades in Andy Reid, Alex Smith (QB) and Number 1 Overall Pick Ė Eric Fisher (Offensive Tackle). Thatís a winning combination that canít be ignored.TB has the 5th ranked offensive line - allowing the third fewest sacks and ranked 11th in YPC at 4.42 yards. Unless you were locked in a Russian Prison last year, itís obvious that the entire fantasy football world knows about Doug Martin. TB Coach Greg Schiano said he would like to involve Martin in the passing game more and that he could see him reaching 2,000 total yards in 2013. If thatís the case, heís going to be your best friend for about 17 weeks.
Muntradamus
Beast Dome
Jamaal had Peyton Hillis slowing him down in 2012. Jamaal also had Matt Cassel at QB and a defense that was always banged up, led by an angry teddy bear in Romeo Crennel. Bring in Andy Ried, a healthy defense, and most importantly Alex Smith. Charles could easily move to #4 by the end of the preseason. Alex Smith keeps drives alive, Jamaal just needs his touches.Teach me how to Douggie has an opportunity to take his game to the next level. Josh Freeman had the Bucs offense clicking like the #1 Scoring offense for a good stretch of the 2012 season, and now he is in a contract year. The Bucs are a great darkhorse to win the Superbowl, Doug will be a big reason why. Peyton Hillis ...

FFLockerRoom
It's the Jaguars, and Jamaal could end up with the weeks highest RB totals. The Jets are terrible for the most part. But for some reason I have reservations against Martin in New York. The defense still holds a lot of pride and will do everything they can to limit Martin.
