Like I said about Thomas, Peyton Manning will be setting records in 2013, which means his WRs will have BEAST like numbers. While Thomas goes deep, Decker does his curls/slants, Welker will be finding all the soft spots without the ability to be doubled team.
The steal of your 2013 Fantasy Football draft. The Cowboys offense is on a mission to win it this year. Miles Austin is the slot WR, and you cannot defend him at the slot. Jason Witten demands attention, Dez Bryant demands attention, and Murray is a TRUCK. Look for Miles to get plenty of open space, and before the injuries he was the best YAC WR in the league. Still has the talent.

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
Ladarius Webb may work the slot and cover Welker for a good portion of this game. With Thomas and Decker as other options Manning won't force the subject.
Austin looks a 100 times better than last preseason and could surprise some this season. During preseason he was productive in the slot and should easily put up respectable numbers in what should be a high scoring affair.

Staff Rankings
FFLockerRoom
Welker is the only receiver in NFL history to produce 5 seasons with at least 100-plus receptions. He remains a No. 2 Fantasy WR in all leagues, but he's no longer the No.1 option anymore in his new passing attack. Welker should be drafted in Round 4 in standard leagues and Round 3 in PPR formats.
Yes, he's considered injury prone but hear me out. The reality is, Austin has played 16 games in 3 of the past 4 years and was the No.26 Fantasy WR last year with 66 receptions for 943 yards and 6 touchdowns. He recorded 8 games with double digit standard fantasy points including 6 of the first 7 of 2012. If you consider him a No.3, spot starter, injury or bye-week replacement picked in the mid-rounds (7-9) he wont disappoint.

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Ravens don't have the corners to stop all of Denver's weapons. Welker could thrive in debut.
He's healthy and at home, so he has a chance.

Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Welker is going to be a nice addition to the Broncos offense and I think Manning will try to involve him early and often against the Ravens revamped defense.

Tozzi Brothers
Legion Report
There are a lot of mouths to feed in Denver with Welker, Decker and Thomas at WR. That being said, Welker should be slotted as a nice 2WR option, as his production and consistency give you exactly what you need from a 2WR.
Austin is working on returning punts this year, but so is Dez Bryant. Austin had a couple big games last year, just because Dallas always found themselves behind from the start. His big playmaking days are over, but he could end up with a big game here and there.

Raju Byfield
Win My Fantasy League
Still a Welker fan, but numbers destined to dwindle
