Nelson has posted two 1,200-yard seasons and scored 30 touchdowns over the last three seasons. There is no longer any doubt that Nelson is the Packers’ top receiver, and he proved it in a year where he didn’t catch passes from quarterback Aaron Rodgers for the better part of eight games. Nelson’s coming off a season with career-highs in receptions (85) and yardage (1,314), numbers that arguably would have been higher had Rodgers stayed healthy. Without Rodgers last year Nelson averaged 63.0 yards per game with one score. With Rodgers those numbers ballooned to 101.3 yards per game and seven scores. The Packers will have their star quarterback healthy and ready to go this season, which should mean big things for Nelson, who will be in a contract year in 2014.
Garcon's 2nd season in Washington saw him set a franchise record with 113 receptions for 1,346 yards and 5 touchdowns. Garcon is not likely to see the 182 targets he registered in 2013, but better chemistry with his star quarterback should mitigate the loss in targets.

Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
If QB Aaron Rodgers stays healthy, Nelson should approach the Top 5 fantasy receivers. Despite playing half of the 2013 season with Rodgers, he finished with 85 receptions for 1,314 yards and eight receiving touchdowns. Nelson recently signed a four-year contract extension, he should be a big part of the Packer passing game for years to come.
Garcon had the receptions (113) and yards (1,346) to be a Top 10 fantasy receiver. He needs to improve on his five touchdowns if he is going to be an elite fantasy option. WR DeSean Jackson should help take pressure off Garcon. It may decrease his receptions, but could also increase his YPC and touchdowns.

Tozzi Brothers
Legion Report
The Packers let Greg Jennings and James Jones go, but kept Nelson. Nelson deserves it, but it also shows how much they value the very talented Nelson in their receiving game. Nelson is a big reason why we have Rodgers ranked as the number 1 QB this season. GB’s schedule this year for Fantasy WR’s couldn’t get too much better – the Packers play 10 teams that ranked 18th or lower against Fantasy WR’s last season. This includes Detroit twice who ranked 30th in the NFL against WR’s giving up an average of 25.8 points per game and Minnesota twice who ranked 31st in the NFL against Fantasy WR’s giving up an average of 26.4 points per game to Fantasy WR’s. Along with this, the Packers still want a fast-paced high volume offense. The Nelson/Rodgers duo is still at the peak of its game – we value Nelson over Cobb in 2014.
Led the NFL last season with 113 Receptions. Garcon also netted 1346 Receiving Yards and only 5 TDs. The acquisition of DeSean Jackson will mean less double coverage in 2014 for Garcon, but will also mean that there are more mouths to feed in DC. The Washington Post recently reported that Jackson will take over the “Z” which was the position of A.J. Green last season in Jay Gruden’s Cincinnati Offense with Garcon handling the “X” at WR. Ultimately, we feel that Garcon will see a bump in Yards Per Reception, but a major reduction in his 182 Targets. However, we fully expect a regression in Receptions in 2014 and we don’t like him at his current ADP.

Sablich Brothers
The NY Times
Averaging 1288 yards, 76.5 grabs, and 7 TDs the last two full seasons he has turned in.
Receptions may decline some, but he will be more productive with DJax drawing coverage.

Jon Collins
Fantasy Sports LR

The targets will come down to be certain, but Garcon was dominant with no legitimate threat opposite him. Team projects "he'll see more single coverage in first eight games than he has his entire Washington career."

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
Nelson put up great numbers when Rodgers was healthy last season, ranking as the second best WR through the first 7 games. With a healthy Rodgers his ceiling remains top-5 easily.
Garcon won't see the percentage of targets he had last season, but there's no doubting that RG3 feels very comfortable with him. Desean Jackson will take some pressure off him and some targets, but Jay Gruden's offense should help the passing game, along with a healthy RG3.

James Hatfield
Hatty Waiver Wire Guru
Randall Cobb's return will hurt Nelson's upside. He is a solid WR, but with a bit more capped upside he isn't a top 10 WR for 2014.
Garcon has proven that he is an elite WR, but his lack of TD's in 2013 is a bit of a concern.

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Jordy is a machine and vastly underrated. Easily a top-10 option provided he stays healthy.
He's a burner who turned into a PPR demon last year. That won't stick but he's still going to be a low-end WR1 or elite WR2.

Addison Witt
Fantasy Team Advice
Nelson understandably struggled last season while Aaron Rodgers was out, but he still managed to finish as the 11th best fantasy receiver. As long as Rodgers stays healthy, Nelson is a essentially a lock for an outstanding season. He is Rodgers' favorite redzone target, and has more chemistry with Rodgers than any of the other Packers receivers.

Jeff Boggis
Fantasy Football Empire
After 15 receiving TDs in 2011, Nelson has a total of 15 TDs 2012 and 2103 combined. In 2013, Nelson had career highs with 85 receptions, 1,314 receiving yards, 82.1 yards per page, and 5 games with 100+ receiving yards. Beneficiary of a health Aaron Rodgers this season.
The addition of DeSean Jackson from Philadelphia will vulture some of Garson's fantasy value in 2014.

Smitty
Fantasy Football Starters
Always underrated, even admittedly by me. He can be a low end fantasy WR1, yet can be had as a third-drafted player.

Pat Fitzmaurice
The Football Girl
Has flypaper hands and a great QB -- a golden combination.
A decline in volume is inevitable, but he's still essential to Skins' offense.

Brandon Funston
Yahoo! Sports
2nd-most WR targets in W1 (14) as GB kept him away from SEA CB Sherman; Good chance for 1st TD vs. beatable NYJ secondary in W2
Target hog in '13 had healthy 12 looks in W1, but an Edelman like 10/77 line - important takeaway is that opportunities are still plentiful

Raju Byfield
Win My Fantasy League
Seems destined for WR1 numbers in his potential last season with Rodgers
Will take a step back with DeSean Jackson in town to steal targets
