I’ve been waiting all summer to announce this, so please forgive me if I’m a little too giddy or delirious (somehow week 1 of the NFL is like final exams week for us). Speaking of being busy, we started FantasyPros because we – as workaholic dads with angry wives (during fantasy football season at least) – really needed a way to cut down on the hours of research we were spending to make simple but agonizing start/sit decisions. We thought, “wouldn’t it be cool if we could get every expert’s start/sit advice with just a click of a button?”
Well, now we can. With one simple search, you can now see every expert’s answer to your specific “Who should I start?” question. OK, I admit that “every” is a bit of an exaggeration, but exaggerations tend to happen when you’re giddy and delirious. A picture is supposedly worth a thousand words, so check this out:
Who should I start in week 1 – Ahmad Bradshaw or Clinton Portis? Tell me what every expert recommends
Please tell me that was cool!
In addition to who each expert recommends, you can also find out how confident each expert is by looking at how far apart their ranks of the two players are. Let’s try that again, but this time I’ll send you to the Ranks Tab (in case you missed seeing this option the first time): Tell me how much each expert likes one player more than the other
If you’re ready to do your own test drive with your specific start/sit questions, just go to our FantasyPros Homepage and look for the “Who Should I Start?” widget. Fill in two player names from the same position and hit “Find Advice.” That’s it. One search and done. No more going from site to site. No more looking through a long list of player rankings to figure out who the expert would start. We’re all about making things easier and faster for you, so we hope this tool helps you make better start/sit decisions in less time!
Please note that we’ll be adding in some more experts and we have a whole slew of cool enhancements that we’ll be launching over the next few weeks. A few that I can mention now are:
- The ability to compare more than 2 players
- Match-up considerations
- Each expert’s historical accuracy
- Member advice and discussion
- Flex and PPR support (TBD)
So give the Who Should I Start? tool a try and let us know what you think.
Also, if you like what we’re doing, please register (free) to get access to all our rankings and tools. Thanks!
