Beat the Expert: Gregg Rosenthal from Rotoworld

A former FSWA “Writer of the Year,” Gregg Rosenthal has been a fixture at Rotoworld for the past 8 years. Judging by his photo, I guess he got his start when he was about 12 years old (Gregg, FWIW, my wife wanted me to write “judging by his boyish good looks” and she’s thinking about becoming your 24,898th follower on Twitter). Gregg spends most of his time these days reporting on breaking NFL news at ProFootballTalk, and directing the fantasy sports activities at NBC Sports.
 
Needless to say, I’m thrilled to have Gregg as one of our featured experts. He has a proven track record of providing solid fantasy advice (top 5 in 2009, top 10 in 2010, and #1 last week!). Given last week’s beat down by Behrens, though, I’m going to be more thrilled if we can get some more people to “Beat the Expert” this week! Compete against Gregg in our free $1,000 contest!

So what’s in it for Gregg?
Each expert is playing for a charitable cause. At the end of the season, we’ll rank each expert based on their relative performance. FantasyPros will donate a total of $2,000 this season to eight charities, with the top expert earning $1,000 for their chosen cause. It’s our way of making sure everyone wins! Gregg’s charity is the American Red Cross, which has helped thousands of people cope with the world’s largest disasters.
