[Almost] A Millionaire Using Our DFS Lineup Optimizer

For those of you that don’t know, our friends over at DraftKings run a Millionaire Maker daily fantasy football contest almost every weekend. Last weekend, after the launch of our new DFS Lineup Optimizer, which helps you set and pick lineups to your favorite DFS sites, a FantasyPros user created a DraftKings lineup, saved it, and — unfortunately — didn’t submit it.

Why unfortunately? It turns out that the lineup he created using our Lineup Optimizer ended up scoring 293.96 fantasy points. The winner of the week 2 Millionaire Maker, who took home $2 million dollars, scored 246.18. That’s nearly a 50 point difference!

After talking with the FantasyPros user (we won’t share his name for obvious reasons) we were given permission to show the winning week 2 lineup that wasn’t submitted. Here it is:

Here’s the winning lineup at DraftKings, taking home $2 million:

We’ve received a lot of positive feedback for our DFS Lineup Optimizer, but none better than this. Hopefully, we’ve all learned our lesson.

The FantasyPros DFS Lineup Optimizer currently supports daily fantasy football games for DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo!, FantasyAces, and DraftPot. You can check it out here. We also run a weekly DFS Lineup Contest where you can win daily fantasy credits. It’s free to use and free to enter the contest.
