Carson Palmer will face a Steelers defense that has given up some big games to QBs

There’s been plenty of talk about DFS lately and whether it’s been positive or negative, Sunday is still a new day with new games. That means that our Daily Fantasy Accuracy Cup heads into another week as the pundits try to stake their claim as the top daily fantasy expert around.

Each week, our friends at FanDuel host the experts in a traditional salary cap game. After the games, we ask the top finishers from that week to share their picks for the upcoming weekend. Take advantage of the experts and set your lineup with the advice below.

Q. What one player are you most likely to include in your FanDuel lineup for this weekend?

Carson Palmer QB, ARI: $8,000 at PIT
“Just about anywhere you look, Palmer is considered the #3 quarterback in week six, yet on FanDuel, his cost is tied for seventh. Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady are both over $1,000 more expensive and Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck will also cost you more budget dollars than Palmer. He’s got a road game this week, which is actually something I shy away from, but he draws a Steelers defense that has allowed a few big games to quarterbacks this year ranking only 22nd against QBs on the young season. I looked for another quarterback value lower on the list and I just couldn’t find another one I liked, in a matchup I liked, which led me back to Palmer again as the obvious value for week six.”
Dave McKay (The Fantasy Sports Brain)

Keep rocking with Palmer until his price is adjusted to the Top 5 QBs. For whatever reason, he and the Cardinals are getting no respect when it comes to their pricing. Arizona leads the NFL in points scored (190), points per game (38.0) and are on pace to break the NFL scoring record of 606 points set by Peyton Manning and the 2013 Broncos. With 190 points through five games, the Cardinals are projected to score 608 points. Palmer and the Cards play the Steelers this weekend who just allowed Philip Rivers to throw for 365 yards and 2 TDs.
Bill Enright (FFChamps)

LeGarrette Blount RB, NE: $6,500 at IND
“The Brady revenge tour travels to where it started in Indianapolis and the Patriots will do all they can to score early and often and then ground and pound the Colts as they like to do. Remember Jonas Gray last year? Blount will get off to a slow start in this game, but own the 4th quarter. Multiple TDs are possible here as well as up to 20 touches. Great value.”
Ken Zalis (Fans Fantasy Football)

Matt Forte RB, CHI: $8,400 at DET
“Forget a Superbowl, the Lions will be lucky to win a game. That said, you should expect a Forte party in Ford Field against a Detroit defense that ranks 30th in the league when it comes to defending the den (3.4 TD/gm). Matt Forte’s prospects for a big game Sunday are looking even brighter now that Lions LB DeAndre Levy and DT Haloti Ngata have already been ruled out. Their safety James Ihedigbo is also questionable with a quad injury.”
Michael Pichan (Fantasy Alarm)

Mike Wallace WR, MIN: $5,400 vs. KC
“Let’s stay away from chalk and go with Vikings WR Mike Wallace. The Vikes don’t throw a lot, but Wallace had eight receptions for 83 yards and a touchdown against the Broncos in Week 4. This week, he faces a Chiefs defense that had been shredded for 285 yards per game through the air and 13 passing TDs. For just $5,400, Wallace looks like a great value.”
John Halpin (FOX Sports)

DeAndre Hopkins WR, HOU: $8,500 at JAC
“Hopkins will be in a large fraction of my FanDuel lineups this week. Fantasy production is about volume and efficiency, and Hopkins is poised for both. So far this season, Hopkins is leading the NFL with 14.8 targets per game — about 19% more than second-place Julio Jones. I believe Brian Hoyer is an upgrade over Ryan Mallett at quarterback, so I expect Hopkins to start racking up more fantasy points per target going foward. He’s not exactly cheap at $8,500, but his likely production makes him a terrific value.”
Maurile Tremblay (Footballguys)

Larry Fitzgerald WR, ARI: $7,500 at PIT
“Aside from the entire Patriots offense, I really like what Larry Fitzgerald has to offer. At $7,500, he still seems under-priced. Calvin Johnson has done almost nothing thus far this season in a broken down offense, yet he still costs $8,200. Those numbers should be flipped at the very least. The Steelers aren’t very good on defense to begin with, and they head into this Sunday’s game with a banged up secondary.”
Alessandro Miglio (Footballguys)
