Best FanDuel Plays for Week 15

Expert Player Position Salary Opponent
Sean Koerner Kamar Aiken WR $6,600 vs. PIT
Heath Capps Blake Bortles QB $8,200 at NO
Bill Enright Charcandrick West RB $6,700 vs. CLE
Tony Cincotta Antonio Brown WR $9,300 at BAL
RC Fischer Brandin Cooks WR $7,000 vs. JAC
Jody Smith Jarvis Landry WR $7,000 vs. IND

Q. What player are you most likely to include in your FanDuel lineup for this weekend?

Kamar Aiken (WR, BAL): $6,600 vs. PIT
“I’m likely going to be targeting Kamar Aiken ($6,600) in both cash and GPP this week. He is a lock for 10+ targets meaning his floor is pretty high to go along with his cheap price tag in his tier. I think with Mallett under center and being the 4th QB he’s had to gel with this season people may stay off him this week keeping his ownership % low once again. The Steelers have allowed monster games from WR nearly every week and with the Ravens likely playing catch up all game I can see Aiken getting a ton of garbage time points.”
Sean Koerner (STATS)

Blake Bortles (QB, JAC): $8,200 at NO
Blake Bortles is my guy this week. He has thrown for at least one touchdown in 14 straight games, which means his floor is safer than some might think. Against the Saints this Sunday, he has championship-winning upside. Finally, Allen Robinson was the biggest Pro Bowl snub of the year, in case you needed more motivation to construct your lineups around Bortles and company.”
Heath Capps (Fake Teams)

Charcandrick West (RB, KC): $6,700 vs. CLE
Charcandrick West. After a trio of single-digit performances to start December, the Chiefs’ RB had a bounce-back game against a relatively tough Ravens’ rush defense to the tune of 76 yards and a score. In Week 16, he has an opportunistic match up against a Browns’ defense allowing the 3rd most points to opposing RBs. Head Coach Andy Reid historically hasn’t employed an RBBC, so even with teammate Spencer Ware potentially coming back, look for Reid to stick with West as the majority share holder in the KC backfield.”
Bill Enright (FFChamps)

Antonio Brown (WR, PIT): $9,300 at BAL
“One of the things that can make you a successful DFS football player is to not outthink yourself. You hear the term ‘contrarian’ play used in tournaments way too much. This week Antonio Brown ($9,300) will be heavily owned and he should be against a defense that has issues defending wideouts. We have plenty of cheap backs that you can fit in your lineup to place Brown and another top-flight wideout in your lineup.”
Tony Cincotta (RotoExperts)

Brandin Cooks (WR, NO): $7,000 vs. JAC
“I like the value on Brandin Cooks at $7,000 for FanDuel–at New Orleans vs. Jacksonville. Cooks is on fire. In his last seven games, he is averaging 78.4 yards and 1.0 TDs per game…with a couple of near-miss TD chances in there as well (landed on the one-yard line Monday night). The Jags’ secondary was torched by Julio Jones last week (nine catches for 118 yards and a TD). T.Y. Hilton, a WR with a size/skill set similar to Cooks’, racked up 132 yards two weeks ago against Jacksonville, playing with an injured QB (Matt Hasselbeck), who was replaced in the game with Charlie Whitehurst. I like Cooks to keep up his hot pace, and believe that Drew Brees (ankle) will start/finish this game.”
RC Fischer (Fantasy Football Metrics)

Jarvis Landry (WR, MIA): $7,000 vs. IND
“Over the last four games, Miami WR Jarvis Landry is second in the league with 43 targets, and his 30 receptions trails only three players. Landry lines up in the slot on 74% of his snaps. For Week 16, he’ll be covered by struggling Indianapolis slot-cornerback Darius Butler, who Pro Football Focus ranks as the 98th (out of 116) corner in coverage this season. At a mere $7,000 this week at FanDuel, Landry is bargain-priced as the 21st most expensive wideout, but has a great chance at producing top-12 receiving numbers in Week 16.”
Jody Smith (Gridiron Experts)
