Brief Summary
- A light, showery rain will fall (could be just sprinkles) for the battle of Ohio this evening between CIN and CLE (the weird start time of 6:10 means that this game is not on many DFS slates anyway) and in the Steel City for ATL at PIT. LOW CHANCE OF PPD/LOW TO PERHAPS MODERATE CHANCE OF ANY TYPE OF DELAY.
- A light rain should be slowly pushing away from SEA at BAL and MIN at PHI this evening. Here are simulated radars for 7 and 8 PM respectively. The rain is expected to be light to begin with. The rain is of the steady shield variety (not showery in nature) but is forecast to push away right around scheduled first pitch. Timing is everything with MLB games and trying to time the exact stoppage in the rain is difficult, if not impossible, to do this far out. LOW CHANCE OF A PPD (since the rain is so light anyways); LOW TO PERHAPS MODERATE RISK OF ANY TYPE OF DELAY(S).
- Just a few sprinkles scattered around WAS at NYM. EXTREMELY LOW CHANCE OF A PPD/LOW CHANCE OF ANY TYPE OF DELAY(S).
- A light, showery rain will fall at times today in the Gateway to the West. By the time scheduled 1st pitch rolls around for COL at STL, the rain should be gone with only a few showers leftover to possibly affect them. EXTREMELY LOW CHANCE OF A PPD; LOW CHANCE OF ANY TYPE OF DELAY(S).
Good Hitting Environments
- NYY at ARI will see warm temperatures that help batted balls travel well.
- TEX at OAK will see warmer than normal temperatures and a breeze blowing out to right.
Poor Hitting Environments
- The three games played in PHI, PIT and BAL will experience miserably cool and, at times, damp conditions.
- CIN at CLE will be played with cool temperatures and a light breeze blowing in from center.
- MIN at DET, HOU at CWS and WAS at NYM will see very cool temperatures.
