Dwayne Allen continues to go well undervalued based on current ADP

Dwayne Allen (TE – IND)
Allen may not feel like a sleeper at first glance, but he is ranked as the 17th TE on the FantasyPros Consensus ADP, which is a deep sleeper for a ‘onesie’ position. He has had trouble staying healthy, so there is some risk if you roll him out as your starter right out of the gate in 2016. However, he makes a fine TE2 and stash for later (as you can trade your starter and begin starting Allen if he does breakout). I fully expect Andrew Luck to rebound into top 1-to-2 fantasy QB value in 2016, and Allen should be heavily involved in Luck’s bounce-back effort from a disappointing 2015.
Richard Rodgers (TE – GB)
Ranked 20th on the FantasyPros Consensus ADP, Rodgers is a great TE2 that will on occasion have low-end TE1-type outings. Grab him and stash him for future trade possibilities. Keep an eye on Jared Cook as well, as he is now in Green Bay. If Rodgers gets hurt, or can’t get it done, Cook could then thrive, or vice versa. One of these guys is going to catch some TDs in 2016.
Vance McDonald (TE – SF)
There is a lot to like about McDonald at his 30th-ranked TE value on the FantasyPros Consensus ADP. McDonald caught two passes for 54 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers’ preseason opener and had some decent games here and there in 2015. His resume is small, so this is more of a gut call vs. a call backed up by lots of data. He looks solid on the field and there is a lot of sleeper potential here. Chip Kelly’s system also favors TE production.
