In a week with a standard number of seemingly odd players at the top of the fantasy leaderboard, a number of experts put their reputation on the line to help readers make their championship game by recommending Tyler Lockett or Robby Anderson as must-starts, while the rest of the field wouldn’t go anywhere near that. Week 15 Accuracy Results

After finishing #2 out of over 140 experts last week, Andy Holloway (The Fantasy Footballers) jumped up a spot to #1 for Week 15. Typically, the experts who finish #1 make just a handful of somewhat bold calls and nail each one of those rankings. This week was a different story, as Andy’s rankings were very bold and there were many of them that went against the consensus opinion. His two most impressive rankings were dropping Aaron Rodgers all the way to #8, while the consensus had him at #3 among quarterbacks. As we know, Rodgers finished #17 last week. Likewise, Andy was extremely low on Amari Cooper, ranking him #26. When Cooper finished as wide receiver #67, it didn’t hurt Holloway anywhere near as much as other experts. Other players he took bold stances on include, Colin Kaepernick, Ryan Mathews, Ty Montgomery, Teddy Ginn, Golden Tate, Michael Thomas, J.J. Nelson, Dez Bryant and Julian Edelman. It is remarkable that he nailed each one of those bold rankings. Congratulations on back to back terrific weeks, Andy!

Every single expert who is top 10 year-to-date for accuracy finished in the top 40 among over 140 experts in Week 15. These guys are on fire and because everyone performed so well, there was little movement on the leaderboard. Dave Major (XN Sports) made the big move, jumping up from #6 to #4 with a top 25 week. Likewise, Matt De Lima (Scout Fantasy) made his first appearance in the season-long top 10 after finishing #3 overall this week. Three other experts on the leaderboard finished in the top 10 with Brett Talley (The Fantasy Fix) leading the group at #5, for his second straight week in the top 10. Sean Koerner (STATS) still holds a steady lead after placing #22 in Week 15 and has distanced himself to the point that the fat lady can start ascending to the stage.
