Point Guards

Jeff Teague (IND): $8,100 at DEN
Jeff Teague is enjoying one of the best seasons of his career in his first with the Indiana Pacers. Teague is posting career-highs in assists (7.2) and rebounds (4.0) per game.

While the Pacers are riding a five-game winning streak, Teague is averaging a double-double with 15.2 points per game and 11.4 assists per game. Teague draws another favorable matchup against the Nuggets making him even more appealing daily play.

Tony Parker (SAS): $4,800 vs. LAL
Tony Parker has picked up his play lately after a slow start and a few injuries. Parker is off to a strong start in January posting over 14 points and six assists per game.

Parker is a solid low price value play with a favorable matchup against the Lakers. The Lakers allow the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season.

Also Consider:
Stephen Curry (GSW) : $9,000
Jrue Holiday (NOP): $6,800
Michael Carter-Williams (CHI): $4,800 (daily value play)

Shooting Guards

Dwyane Wade (CHI): $6,900 vs. NYK
Dwayne Wade gets the nod for me here because of the favorable matchup against the struggling Knicks and Wade being the de-facto go-to-guy on Thursday with Jimmy Butler out. Joining Butler out of the lineup will be Nikola Mirotic, leaving even more opportunities for Wade.

Denzel Valentine has earned a role but looks for him to take minutes away from Doug McDermott whose struggled lately. Wade is a solid bet for 15 points and five assists.

Lou Williams (LAL): $4,600 at SAS
If there is one position that is susceptible to scoring against the Spurs, it’s the shooting guard position. The Spurs are in the top-10 in most points allowed to shooting guards the only position. All other positions, they are in the bottom five in points allowed to opposing players.

Also, in their first matchup, Williams led the game with 24 points. I’m leaning towards Williams over the inconsistent Nick Young.

Also Consider:
Klay Thompson (GSW) : $6,400
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (DET): $5,900
Denzel Valentine (CHI): $3,800 (daily value play)

Small Forwards

Kawhi Leonard (SAS): $8,700 vs. LAL
Kawhi Leonard, like Williams, led the way for his team in the first meeting between these two teams. Leonard fell three assists shy of a triple-double but scored 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

He’s a stat sheet stuffer as he showed in his previous game with the Bucks finishing with 52.4 fantasy points. Leonard had 30 points, three steals and three blocks. PLAY YOUR STUDS!

Paul George (IND): $7,800 at DEN
Paul George and Jeff Teague have both been responsible in large part for the Pacers’ five-game winning streak. George has done his part averaging over 25 points per game in his previous five with back-to-back games of three steals. George gets another favorable matchup against the Nuggets in what’s expected to be the highest-scoring game of the night.

Also Consider:
Kevin Durant (GSW) : $10,300
Danilo Gallinari (DEN): $6,000
Bojan Bogdanovic (BKN): $4,400 (daily value play)

Power Forwards

Tobias Harris (DET): $6,000 at GSW
Tobias Harris has been one of the bright spots for the Detroit Pistons this season whether he comes off the bench or starts. He will start again in this game with Jon Leuer out with a knee injury.

Harris hasn’t had less than 20 fantasy points in FanDuel since December 19th against the Bulls. A favorable matchup with the Warriors leaves Harris as an excellent value play at his current tag.

Nikola Jokic (DEN): $7,700 vs. IND
Nikola Jokic is expected to play despite missing the previous game due to an illness. It remains to be seen how many or which players will miss this game as the Nuggets have many players either questionable or a game-time call.

This includes Kenneth Faried, Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari, Gary Harris and Darrell Arthur. If any of these players miss, it means more opportunity for one of the biggest surprises in fantasy this season.

Also Consider:
Anthony Davis (NOP): $11,800
LaMarcus Aldridge (SAS): $7,600
Marquese Chriss (PHX): $3,900 (daily value play)

Center

Tyson Chandler (PHX): $5,200 vs. DAL
Tyson Chandler is a staple of my Thursday FanDuel Lineups this season as he continues to pull down rebounds with ease. Chandler has at least 15 boards in each of his previous three games with 18 just last week against the Mavericks. Another chance at a revenge game for Chandler makes him my choice at center this evening.

Also Consider:
Brook Lopez (BKN): $7,000
Myles Turner (IND): $7,000
Kyle O’Quinn (NYK): $3,900 (daily value play)
