The PGA Tour is hitting up the Honda Classic starting Thursday. I’ve put together a few of the top value picks that you can include on your daily fantasy golf team this weekend, along with some analysis of why I’ve included these golfers. Before you draft your own team, remember that each daily fantasy sports site is a little bit different when it comes to scoring, and what works at one site might not necessarily work at another. The advice and the salary amounts given here are for drafting a roster at FanDuel. The roster might do well at another DFS site, but it might not. It’s important that you know how the scoring works at whatever site you play at so that you can maximize the value of each golfer that you draft and optimize your chances of playing well. Just because someone is a great value pick on FanDuel does not mean they will be a strong pick on other sites.

Rafa Cabrera Bello ($10,800)
Bello’s salary of $10,800 puts him in the top tier of golfers this weekend, but that doesn’t mean he’s overpriced. He has made five of his five cuts so far this season and is averaging 82.4 points per tournament. That easily puts him in the top five as far as consistency goes for golfers entered in this tournament. He is still not in top shape for the season, and he could stand to gain some endurance, especially on the final day of competition. This is a skill that will grow as the season prolongs.
Brian Harman ($10,500)
Harman is priced at $10,500 and has averaged 86.4 points per tournament so far this season. He’s made six out of seven cuts on the season, missing out at the Farmer’s Open back in January. He hasn’t competed since then, and hopefully, the time off has helped. Before then, he had finished with over 100 fantasy points in each of his four previous tournaments. Granted, the ability of his competition has increased since then, but Harman is positioned for a top ten finish here if things go his way early in the tournament.
Kevin Kisner ($10,300)
Kisner is another golfer poised for a strong finish this weekend. He has a price tag of $10,300 but is performing at a much higher level than this indicates. He’s averaged 83.2 points per tournament this season, and that’s with just 43.9 points in his last tournament at Pebble Beach. He’s made four out of five cuts this season, but he is one of those golfers that gets better as the season progresses. In the three tournaments before Pebble Beach, his worst fantasy point return was 87.4, which gives us a better indication of what he’s capable of this weekend.
