DraftKings MLB Lineup Advice: Tuesday (5/15)

Tuesday’s 14-game MLB DFS slate is another situation where you will need to put on your rain poncho and galoshes and watch the weather leading up to first pitch. At least the rain potential is focused on the East Coast so we should have an idea of any PPDs prior to lineup lock for the early games. Unfortunately, many of the plays that I like and recommend come from those games so be sure to check your favorite weather report and be prepared to pivot as needed.

As always, be sure to pay close attention to the lineups when they are released and monitor the weather leading up to game time. Pitchers

Noah Syndergaard (NYM): $10,800 vs. TOR
The Mets/Blue Jays game does have some rain in the forecast but early indications are that it will play. I can’t bring myself to pay $13,900 for Gerrit Cole pitching on the road against a good Angels offense, so I’ll save over $3,000 and use Noah Syndergaard pitching at home. Syndergaard has pitched better at home over his career with a lower ERA (2.70) and wOBA (.263), as well as a higher strikeout rate (29.2%). Syndergaard and the Mets are also one of the biggest Vegas favorites on the slate. Hopefully, Thor can calm the storms and the Blue Jays bats.
