DraftKings MLB Lineup Advice: Tuesday (5/8)

I am looking to prioritize bats when building my MLB DFS lineup for Tuesday’s big 14-game slate. There are plenty of usable pitching options ranging from the high-priced end all the way down to the bargain bin so save a few bucks at pitcher and sink those funds into hitters with a game at Coors Field along with a variety of pitchers to pick on in good hitting environments.

As always, be sure to pay close attention to the lineups when they are released and monitor the weather leading up to game time. Pitchers

Lance McCullers Jr. (HOU): $11,300 @ OAK
Lance McCullers Jr. has been pitching deeper into games this season including four straight outings with at least six innings pitched. Over those last four starts, he has a sparkling 1.67 ERA with a solid 26.0% strikeout rate. He just threw seven innings of shutout ball with seven strikeouts against the same A’s team he will face on Tuesday night. My only concern regarding McCullers is that he is on the road where he has historically not fared as well as at home, however, a favorable park adjustment pitching at Oakland helps offset those concerns.
