Writing MLB DFS content becomes increasingly difficult in September with expanded rosters as teams play uncommon lineups and there are a lot more platoon situations with players replaced midway through the game for a pinch runner or pinch hitter.
Friday’s 14-game slate on FanDuel is loaded with strong pitching options which makes finding a pitcher easy but then you try to cobble together a group of hitters that you expect to play, and things get dicey in a hurry. This time of year, maybe more than ever, be sure you are checking the starting lineups closely to see if hitters are in the lineup and where they are slotted. Here is my best effort to piece together a sample cash game lineup for Friday night.
