What is the 2019 NFL Mock Draft contest and how do I enter?

Our contest offers an opportunity to create your own 1st round NFL Mock Draft and compete against our community to see who can predict the NFL Draft the best. We’ve created an easy-to-use tool to make submitting a mock draft a complete breeze and fun process. At the conclusion of the 1st round, we’ll post a leaderboard of exactly how accurate your mock draft is and we’ll even show how your mock draft rates vs. the top draft analysts in the industry. The contest is FREE to enter with the following prizes up for grabs:

Can you tell me more about the prizes for the top entries?

Of course! If you create an awesome mock draft, you will be rewarded. The top 5 rated mock drafts will all win free premium subscriptions at FantasyPros. Best of all, first place will earn a subscription for LIFE. The free upgrades will all be set at our Hall of Fame level, which is our highest premium tier. This means the winners will get access to all of the premium tools, content and advice we offer for every sport.

Please note that your may only submit ONE mock draft. Any attempts to create multiple accounts to improve the odds of winning a prize will result in disqualification.

How do you score the mock draft accuracy?

We judge mock draft accuracy based off of your 1st round predictions. Specifically, our scoring system seeks to reward correctly identifying the following things in an NFL mock draft:

1. How each player’s predicted draft position compares to their actual draft position
2. How each player ranks among their (playing) position
3. Which positions each team drafts in the 1st round
4. Whether the predicted team for each player matches the team that actually drafts each player.

Can I predict trades?

Yes, we support predicted trades. While trades can be difficult to predict, they do impact where players get drafted and are worth considering as you fill out your mock draft.  You can easily adjust your draft board to account for potential moves by clicking the ‘edit’ icon next to each team name in our mock draft tool. This will let you select the team you expect to move into a draft slot.

When is the mock draft accuracy deadline?

Your final mock draft must submitted by Thursday, April 25th at 8pm ET. This represents the beginning of the NFL Draft. You may update your mock draft as frequently as you wish prior to that date and time.

Where can I update my mock draft if I’d like to change something after it has been submitted?

Please visit here to adjust your mock prior to the actual draft. For an easy reference, this link is always available by hovering over your username at the top right of the FantasyPros site and selected “My Contests”.

When will the leaderboard be posted that displays the accuracy results?

We’ll do our best to tally the results and display the leaderboard as soon as possible after the 1st round of the NFL Draft concludes on Thursday night. We plan to have an announcement available no later than the following week.
