DraftKings MLB Lineup Advice: Tuesday (5/28)

At the beginning of the season, if you told me I would be considering starting the two pitchers that I am recommending for the Tuesday night MLB DFS slate, I would have said you were crazy. However, given their matchups, production, and salary they seem to make the most sense to roster on the 13-game DraftKings slate. Meanwhile, on the hitting side there is a game at Coors Field with two suspect pitchers on the bump, so be sure to get some exposure there along with a few other underpriced bats.

As always, be sure to pay close attention to the lineups when they are released and monitor the weather leading up to game time. For reference throughout the season, be sure to bookmark our overview of MLB Park Factors and how to Use Weather to Your Advantage in MLB DFS.

Pitchers

Lucas Giolito (CWS): $9,900 vs. KC
Giolito had an ERA around 5.50 through his career heading into this season, however, the highly touted prospect seems to have figured it out this season with a 2.77 ERA (3.82 xFIP) and 28.5% strikeout rate through nine starts. He is coming off of a complete game shutout of the Astros in Houston and has allowed a total of two runs over this last four outings. He will pitch at home as a Vegas favorite against the Royals on Tuesday night. In two meetings with the Royals this season, Giolito has thrown 9 1/3 innings while allowing two runs on three hits and striking out 13.
