Take note that these recommendations were organized earlier in the day, and circumstances could change once the lineup cards are released. However, the following players represent your best targets to consider, and any notable contingencies will be outlined in their write-ups. We will be looking at the seven-game main slate starting at 7:15 p.m. ET.

Pitcher

Kenta Maeda (LAD): $6,700 vs. San Diego
Maeda hasn’t been great recently, but he hasn’t been bad either. His price has fallen to bargain levels as a result, and I believe tonight represents an interesting breakout opportunity. Maeda will take the bump against a San Diego offense that ranks 20th in wRC+ with an MLB-high 26.1% strikeout rate. Maeda’s most noticeable blemish has come in the form of a .356 wOBA split to left-handed hitters. Luckily, the Padres don’t have many quality lefty bats to expose him.
