We’ve played one-quarter of the fantasy football season already, which just seems crazy to me. Fortunately, Week 4 wasn’t the bloodbath of injuries that Week 3 was, though it was one of those weeks where we saw backups scoring touchdowns left and right. When Jordan Howard scored three touchdowns on Thursday night, including one receiving, you knew it was going to be a weird week, right? Week 5 will surely bring a new set of challenges, like trying to set build a DFS lineup without attacking the Dolphins, who are on their bye week, as are the Lions.

When looking at the rankings, I fully expect you to have some questions on why your favorite player is ranked too low, or why your least favorite player is ranked too high. That’s where The Primer comes in. That’s the article where I write a paragraph from every fantasy relevant player from every game (yes, even Taylor Gabriel and Hunter Renfrow). Whether it be snap counts, injuries, or cornerback matchups, it’s all covered there. The Primer comes out every Thursday morning, so if you’re wondering why a player is higher or lower than you’d think, the answer will be in there. Until then, here’s my early look at Week 5 rankings.
