Fastest Players at the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine

As the saying goes- speed kills! The biggest draw to the Combine every year is the 40-yard dash where fans and teams are able to watch some of the most impressive athletic feats take place and satisfy their need for speed. This year brought us a ton of prospects with high expectations in this event, like Henry Ruggs III attempting to break the 4.22-second record and watching the unbelievably athletic 300+ pound linemen run sub-5.0 second times.

Before we dig into the fastest times here are a few quick notes about the fastest times at the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine:

• Two players ran under 4.30 seconds
• One was a wide receiver and one was a cornerback
• 12 players ran under 4.40 seconds
• Six wide receivers, three cornerbacks, one safety, one running back, and one linebacker
