Quarterbacks
| Rank | PLAYER | TEAM | GAMES |
| 1 | P.J. Walker | HOU | 4 |
| 2 | Josh Johnson | LA | 3 |
| 3 | Jordan Ta’amu | STL | 4 |
| 4 | Cardale Jones | DC | 4 |
| 5 | Taylor Cornelius | TB | 3 |
| 6 | Brandon Silvers | SEA | 4 |
| 7 | Philip Nelson | DAL | 2 |
| 8 | Luis Perez | NY | 2 |
| 9 | Matt McGloin | NY | 3 |
| 10 | B.J. Daniels | SEA | 2 |
- P.J. Walker remains atop the quarterback ranks once again even with a sub-par performance in Week 4.
- Philip Nelson will get the start for Dallas this week with Landy Jones out for at least two weeks. He gets a home game against the Guardians, which up until last week looked like a great matchup for him. It may not be as easy as we thought.
- Luis Perez and Matt McGloin split reps in practice, but as of yet, no starter has been named.
- I expect Silvers to get the start but he might be on a short leash after last week, so I ranked B.J. Daniels too.
Running Backs
| Rank | PLAYER | TEAM | GAMES |
| 1 | Lance Dunbar | DAL | 4 |
| 2 | Cameron Artis-Payne | DAL | 4 |
| 3 | James Butler | HOU | 4 |
| 4 | De’Veon Smith | TB | 4 |
| 5 | Nick Holley | HOU | 4 |
| 6 | Kenneth Farrow | SEA | 4 |
| 7 | Donnel Pumphrey | DC | 4 |
| 8 | Darius Victor | NY | 4 |
| 9 | Jacques Patrick | TB | 4 |
| 10 | Matt Jones | STL | 4 |
| 11 | Dujuan Harris | LA | 3 |
| 12 | Martez Carter | LA | 1 |
| 19 | Ja’Quan Gardner | SEA | 4 |
| 13 | Christine Michael | STL | 4 |
| 14 | Trey Williams | SEA | 4 |
| 15 | Tim Cook | NY | 4 |
| 16 | Keith Ford | STL | 2 |
| 17 | Jhurell Pressley | DC | 3 |
| 18 | Nick Brossette | DC | 3 |
- The two Dallas backs sit atop the rankings this week as I expect Dallas to lean on their run game with backup quarterback Philip Nelson under center.
- Week 3 superstar Martez Carter may be back for the Wildcats this week. Keep an eye on practice reports.
- Nick Holley vaults into the top 5 after his monster Week 4 game.
Wide Receivers
| Rank | PLAYER | TEAM | GAMES |
| 1 | Cam Phillips | HOU | 4 |
| 2 | Tre McBride | LA | 2 |
| 3 | De’Mornay Pierson-El | STL | 4 |
| 4 | Daniel Williams | TB | 4 |
| 5 | Kahlil Lewis | HOU | 4 |
| 6 | Austin Proehl | SEA | 4 |
| 7 | Jordan Smallwood | LA | 4 |
| 8 | Nick Holley | HOU | 4 |
| 9 | Flynn Nagel | DAL | 4 |
| 10 | Jalen Tolliver | TB | 4 |
| 11 | Alonzo Russell | STL | 4 |
| 12 | Colby Pearson | NY | 4 |
| 13 | Keenan Reynolds | SEA | 4 |
| 14 | L’Damian Washington | STL | 4 |
| 15 | Reece Horn | TB | 4 |
| 16 | Rashad Ross | DC | 4 |
| 17 | Eli Rogers | DC | 4 |
| 18 | Mekale McKay | NY | 4 |
| 19 | DeAndre Thompkins | DC | 3 |
| 20 | Sam Mobley | HOU | 4 |
| 21 | Jeff Badet | DAL | 4 |
| 22 | Kermit Whitfield | LA | 4 |
| 23 | Keith Mumphery | STL | 3 |
| 24 | Austin Duke | NY | 3 |
| 25 | Adonis Jennings | LA | 4 |
| 26 | Brandon Reilly | STL | 3 |
| 27 | Blake Jackson | HOU | 3 |
| 28 | Alonzo Moore | SEA | 3 |
| 29 | Saeed Blacknall | LA | 2 |
| 30 | Joe Horn | NY | 3 |
| 31 | Sammie Coates | HOU | 4 |
| 32 | Josh Crockett | DAL | 3 |
| 33 | Teo Redding | NY | 4 |
| 34 | Jazz Ferguson | DAL | 3 |
| 35 | Ryheem Malone | HOU | 4 |
| 36 | Dontez Byrd | SEA | 4 |
| 37 | Carlton Agudosi | STL | 2 |
| 38 | Malachi Dupre | DC | 3 |
| 39 | Freddie Martino | DAL | 4 |
- Tre McBride and Cam Phillips are the top two wide receivers this week. Phillips had a down week, but I expect a bounce back from him. Spruce has already been ruled for the Wildcats making McBride the de facto No. 1 receiver if he wasn’t already.
- Behind the top two, there is a cluster of guys that get decent volume, like Jordan Smallwood, Austin Proehl, Flynn Nagel, and Jalen Tolliver.
- The Defenders wide receivers went from must own to barely startable. They play at home this weekend, maybe that will wake them up.
Tight Ends
| Rank | PLAYER | TEAM | GAMES |
| 1 | Donald Parham | DAL | 4 |
| 2 | Nick Truesdell | TB | 2 |
| 3 | Brandon Barnes | LA | 4 |
| 4 | Marcus Lucas | STL | 4 |
| 5 | DeAndre Goolsby | TB | 3 |
| 6 | Jake Powell | NY | 4 |
| 7 | Khari Lee | DC | 3 |
| 8 | Evan Rodriguez | SEA | 3 |
| 9 | E.J. Bibbs | NY | 3 |
| 10 | Sean Price | DAL | 3 |
- Even with the downgrade at quarterback this week, Donald Parham takes the top spot. He is by far the best option at tight end.
- Nick Truesdell looks to be on track to make his return after a 2-game absence. He immediately becomes my No. 2 tight end if he plays.
Defense
| Rank | TEAM |
| 1 | Houston Roughnecks |
| 2 | St. Louis BattleHawks |
| 3 | Dallas Renegades |
| 4 | LA Wildcats |
| 5 | DC Defenders |
| 6 | Tampa Bay Vipers |
| 7 | NY Guardians |
| 8 | Seattle Dragons |
- The Defenders defense has been exposed the last two weeks, but they will be getting some much-needed home cooking this week as they play in DC where they were dominant the first two weeks.
