Scott Bogman, host of the FantasyPros Dynasty Football Podcast and IDP Podcast, teamed with Joe Pisapia, co-host of the IDP Podcast, to provide dynasty rookie profiles for IDP players. They break down the top names of the 2022 NFL Draft class as you prepare for your dynasty rookie and startup drafts.
Dynasty IDP Rookie Prospect Profile
Kyler Gordon was a part-time player for the Huskies until getting a full workload in 2021. Gordon will most likely play the slot at the next level, as he’s better in man coverage and is a strong tackler. Gordon is yet another DB in this class who will be more valuable in tackle-heavy IDP leagues, considering that he only had two INTs and 12 PDs across three seasons. Gordon’s ability to close on tackles is one of his best traits and could develop into plays on the ball eventually, but his 40 time was middling at the combine. I would love to see Gordon drafted to a CB-needy team that would quickly get him on the field.

Landing Spot and Dynasty Outlook
Kyler Gordon – Chicago Bears, Pick 39
Chicago represents another solid landing spot for a CB in this class as Kyler Gordon should drop right in and become a full time starter from Day 1. Gordon is thought to be more of a slot corner but he could end up playing outside the determining factor will be if the Bears want Kindle Vildor or Tavon Young starting. Gordon should be able to put up some decent numbers for CB-required leagues from Day 1.
