Dynasty IDP Rookie Prospect Profile

Last year, Travon Walker was part of a special defense that won the NCAA National Championship. Yet, with all those studs, Walker was a clear standout. He is a versatile player who can play three, five and six techniques. There's also a chance he could play in a three-four as a defensive end at the NFL level. Walker is tremendous against the run and his six sacks last season showed he has the skills to get to the QB and even grow in that regard at the NFL level in the proper system. He possesses incredible speed for a player of his size and plays with intensity. Walker's outstanding combine moved him up NFL draft boards with good reason. His versatility, though, should have you excited for fantasy purposes. Additionally, quality DLs are tough to find. This is a special class for that position, and Walker has a chance to be the best in this group.

Landing Spot and Dynasty Outlook

Travon Walker - Jacksonville Jaguars, Round 1: Pick 1
The Jags decided to go with the upside with the number 1 overall pick and Walker has A LOT of upside.  Walker will play on the opposite side of outstanding EDGE rusher Josh Allen and should see all 3 downs from day one.  The Jaguars offense needs to get way better to put the defense in position to pin their ears back and go after the QB which might take a bit but when they do Allen and Walker are going to be hard for Offensive Lines to handle.
