Fantasy Football Injury Updates
Zach Ertz (calf) listed as questionable for Sunday

Fantasy Impact: Ertz was limited at practice Wednesday and Friday while missing Thursday’s practice. Coach Kliff Kingsbury said he “hopes” to have Ertz on the field, but it is possible he might not play the whole game if he does play. There should hopefully be another report on Saturday providing a further update on Ertz for Sunday, but fantasy managers of Ertz should be cautious.
George Kittle (groin) listed as questionable for Sunday

Fantasy Impact: It would be a surprise if Kittle plays on Sunday, but it is possible with this designation. Kittle managers should plan on looking elsewhere at the tight end position come Sunday. David Njoku, Austin Hooper and Gerald Everett are a few potential viable fill-ins this week.
Michael Gallup out for home opener
According to Bobby Belt of 1053TheFan, WR Michael Gallup is officially out for the Dallas Cowboys for Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. (Source: Bobby Belt on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Gallup’s absence was not unexpected, but now it is official. Gallup dodged both the IR and the PUP lists to open the season, so he likely won’t miss more than a few games, but in the meantime, this boosts the status of rookie WR Jalen Tolbert who can occupy a very similar role. As well, WR CeeDee Lamb and TE Dalton Schultz can expect higher volume while Gallup remains out.
Chris Godwin questionable for Week 1
According to Bobby Belt of 1053TheFan, WR Chris Godwin is listed as questionable for Week 1 at Dallas. (Source: Bobby Belt on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have called Godwin a game-time decision, so it’s impossible to tell right now, but the fact he is even this close to returning at this time is a good sign for the rest of the season. Godwin has consistently been one of QB Tom Brady’s favorite targets, racking in high volume when healthy. If Godwin sits out, though, the volume will likely go toward WR Mike Evans, particularly in the red zone, and possibly a combination of WR Julio Jones and RBs Leonard Fournette and Rachaad White in the short areas of the field.
