Kicker Streaming Options for Week 2
These two kickers are players ranked outside of the FantasyPros ECR top 10 who could be an excellent play in Week 2.
Wil Lutz (K – NO) vs. Tampa Bay: 9% roster percentage on Yahoo
Lutz scored nine fantasy points against the Falcons on Sunday in his return to the field after missing all of 2021 with a core muscle injury. The results were mixed, with a missed 45-yard attempt mixed in with two field goals and an extra point. He plays this week at home against a stout Bucs defense that held the Cowboys to just three points in Week 1. I like both kickers in this matchup, and anticipate Lutz will finish well inside the top 12.
Chris Boswell (K – PIT) vs. New England: 12% roster percentage on Yahoo
Even with a missed 50-yard attempt that hit the uprights, Boswell provided a top-three finish for fantasy managers. Although I would like him more if T.J. Watt were playing, the Steelers’ defense should shut down a putrid Patriots offense, leading to short fields and multiple field goal tries for Boswell.
