James Conner posted a double-digit fantasy effort in Week 1 but has failed to do so since, and then he sat out Week 6 with a rib injury. The Arizona offense is inching ever closer to being full strength, though the loss of WR Marquise Brown is certainly a detriment. The primary question fantasy managers have is whether or not the 27-year-old running back will be on the field Thursday against New Orleans. Will James Conner play in Week 7? Here is what we know.

James Conner (ribs) to be a game-time decision for Week 7
Saints HC Dennis Allen declined to name who would be the team’s starting QB for this coming Thursday’s game vs. Arizona.
Fantasy Impact
Winston practiced this week and was active for Sunday’s game against Cincinnati. However, Allen admitted that Winston still was not 100% healthy. Meanwhile, Andy Dalton continues to make the most of his banged-up offense. This will be one for fantasy managers to monitor closely on a short week.

What the Experts are Saying
Conner has been listed as a game-time decision. I doubt he will play this week. It feels like Kingsbury being cagey. In the three games, Conner has played at least 60% of snaps, he has averaged 16.3 touches and 63 total yards. He’s the RB34 in fantasy points per game, ranking 31st in evaded tackles, 35th in juke rate, and 35th in yards created per touch. If he’s active, Conner is a risky RB3.
