Fantasy Football Injury Updates
Joe Mixon remains in concussion protocol, making progress
Bengals RB Joe Mixon is still in concussion protocol but is making progress, coach Zac Taylor said.
Fantasy Impact
Mixon’s status remains up in the air for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs. Samaje Perine played well this past weekend against the Titans and would remain an RB2 play if Mixon misses another game. Perine shouldn’t be dropped yet just in case he starts another game.
J.K. Dobbins (knee) expected to return to practice this week
J.K. Dobbins is set to return to practice this week for the Ravens.
Fantasy Impact
Dobbins last played in Week 6 before undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery. His return to practice this week doesn’t necessarily guarantee he will be playing this weekend. His eventual return will only make the Ravens backfield more crowded.
Darnell Mooney (ankle) officially out for the season
Bears’ HC Matt Eberflus told reporters that WR Darnell Mooney is out for the season due to the ankle injury he sustained Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
This was the expectation and it was confirmed by Eberflus. Mooney ends his 2022 season catching 40 passes for 493 yards with two touchdowns.
Michael Carter (ankle) considered day-to-day, could play on Sunday
Michael Carter is being treated as day-to-day, per head coach Robert Saleh, and has a chance to play on Sunday against the Vikings.
Fantasy Impact
Carter left New York’s Week 12 win early due to a sprained ankle, but it does not look like it is a very severe injury. His availability throughout practice this week will the biggest tell for whether or not he will suit up on Sunday, although this is a good sign to open up the week.
