Fantasy Football Injury Updates
Jerry Jeudy suffers ‘mild’ ankle injury
Jerry Jeudy reportedly suffered a “mild” ankle injury on Sunday, Ian Rapoport reported.
Fantasy Impact
Jeudy’s status for this week has not yet been determined, but they received promising results. It sounds like he won’t be sidelined for an extended period of time though which is a good sign for the Broncos. If he sidelined in Week 11 though, Courtland Sutton and Greg Dulcich would likely see a bump in opportunity.
Leonard Fournette likely to be ready in Week 12
Leonard Fournette suffered a hip pointer in Week 10’s win over the Seahawks, but he will likely be ready for Week 12’s game at Cleveland following Tampa Bay’s bye.
Fantasy Impact
The Tampa Bay backfield is becoming more of a committee than not, with Rachaad White rushing eight more times than Fournette in Week 10. Fantasy managers are in a challenging position because the 27-year-old shouldn’t be dropped, but it is hard to start him going forward. It will also be important to keep up to date regarding this injury if it becomes a more significant issue than initially thought.
Kyler Murray (hamstring) remains day-to-day
Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury said Kyler Murray remains day-to-day.
Fantasy Impact
Kingsbury eiterated again the Cardinals want him to be able to run full out out on the field. Hamstring injuries can be tricky in regards to rushing players back. The Cardinals play the 49ers next Monday, so that makes it a little more tricky for fantasy managers likely having to make a decision on starting Murray or not by Sunday. We will have to monitor his status at practice throughout the week.
Marquise Brown (foot) ‘getting close’ to return
Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said Marquise Brown is ‘getting close’ to returning.
Fantasy Impact
“I think he’s getting to the point where he’s getting day-to-day,” Kingsbury said. It doesn’t appear Brown will be returning this upcoming week. The Cardinals have their bye in Week 13, so Arizona may decide to have him return after that in Week 14 just in time for the fantasy playoffs.
