Fantasy Football Injury Updates
Jameson Williams (ACL) hopeful to start practicing after Thanksgiving
Lions hope Jameson Williams will start practicing after Thanksgiving, although it could be earlier/later depending on where he’s at.
Fantasy Impact
Williams continues to recover from a torn ACL he suffered in his final year at Alabama. It is possible he sees the field sometime in December to get his feet wet, but it’s also possible he doesn’t play at all this season. Either way, Williams probably won’t be fantasy relevant in redraft leagues this season.
Dallas Goedert (shoulder) placed on IR
The Eagles placed TE Dallas Goedert on injured reserve on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Goedert will miss a minimum of four weeks, meaning the earliest he can return is Week 15 which is the the first week of the fantasy playoffs in most leagues. This should lead to AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith seeing more targets, while Tyree Jackson and Jack Stoll potentially split the tight end snaps.
Marquise Brown designated to return to practice from IR
The Cardinals designated Marquise Brown to return to practice from injured reserve. He is eligible to play Monday night against San Francisco.
Fantasy Impact
Brown has not played since mid-October after suffering a foot injury in a loss to Seattle. Although Brown is eligible to play Monday, he may need more time to get himself back into game shape. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on his practice reports this week.
Kyler Murray (hamstring) remains up in the air for Week 11
Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury said Kyler Murray remains day to day.
Fantasy Impact
Kingsbury also said Colt McCoy is day to day and hopes to have one of them available Monday night against the 49ers. It sounds like Murray has less of a chance of playing than McCoy, especially dealing with a hamstring injury where his mobility could be impacted. The extra day of practice still gives Murray a shot to return though and this will be a situation to monitor at practice through Saturday.
